Litecoin (Scrypt) Miners

Litecoin shares the Scrypt algorithm with Dogecoin and Bells, and the same hardware pool covers all three: Elphapex's DG lineup, Volcminer's D1 family, and Bitmain's L11 series. Buying a Litecoin miner effectively means buying a Scrypt miner that will also earn Dogecoin and Bells through merge mining.

As with Dogecoin, the practical decision is between home-scale units drawing a few hundred watts and hydro-cooled units drawing several kilowatts for meaningfully higher throughput. Hydro units like the DG Hydro 1 and D1 Hydro need a proper cooling loop and adequate circuit capacity to run at rated performance.

Litecoin's price has historically been less volatile than some smaller-cap coins, but it still moves independently of Bitcoin, so base payback calculations on current Litecoin and Dogecoin prices rather than past performance.
