Custom-Built Dry Cooling Towers for Mining & Industrial Loops

A dry cooling tower rejects heat from a sealed water loop straight to ambient air through a finned coil and a bank of axial fans. Nothing evaporates, so the loop keeps its coolant, the site keeps its water, and there is no basin chemistry, blowdown or plume to manage — the practical reason most modern hydro mining farms specify dry coolers over evaporative towers.

We build these units to order in capacities from 30KW up to 3000KW: 30, 50, 80, 160, 200, 600, 800, 1250, 1800, 2000, 2500 and 3000KW. Small units suit a single hydro cabinet or a pilot room; mid-range units match container builds and multi-cabinet farms; the large frames feed megawatt-scale liquid-cooled data centers, and multiple units can be banked as a cooler field.

Custom-built means the coil rows, fan count, header diameter, frame geometry and control scheme are sized against your design ambient temperature, target coolant supply temperature and available footprint. That matters more than nameplate kilowatts: a cooler sized for 25°C ambient behaves very differently at 40°C, and getting approach temperature right is what holds hashboard temperatures inside spec through summer.

Fans are speed-controlled and staged, so at part load the unit runs quietly and draws a fraction of its rated auxiliary power. In cold climates a water/glycol mix replaces basin freeze protection, and because the circuit is closed there is no vapour cloud over the site in winter — useful where planning conditions or neighbours constrain what a farm can emit.

Beyond mining, the same units serve industrial process cooling, generator jacket water, injection moulding and data-center free-cooling duties.
