Volcminer's D1 family is a Scrypt lineup competing directly with Elphapex and Bitmain's L-series for Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bells mining. The catalog spans the D1 Mini Pre at the low-power end through the D1, D1 Pro and D1 Lite, up to the D1 Hydro for operators who want maximum hashrate per rack slot.

The gap between the Mini Pre and the full D1 Hydro is substantial in both power draw and output, so match the model to your available circuit capacity rather than buying the largest unit available. Hydro cooling on the D1 Hydro requires the same plumbing considerations as any hydro ASIC: a manifold, pump and radiator sized to the rated heat load.

As with any Scrypt hardware, expect returns to move with Litecoin and Dogecoin prices, and recheck payback assumptions periodically rather than relying on a single point-in-time calculation.
